Born and raised in England, Robert began acting in youth & musical theatre before going on to study drama in York, where he appeared in many contemporary, physical and Shakespearean theatre productions. He began working as an actor after completing his drama training, performing in a number of leading roles at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, followed by various guest appearances in several primetime TV dramas in the UK. Robert has had recurring guest starring roles in iconic British television series “Coronation Street”, “Emmerdale” and “Heartbeat”.

In 2008, Robert moved to Vancouver, BC and took the recurring role of Declan Macrae in 3 seasons of the hit Syfy series "Sanctuary". Other roles include J.J. Abrams series, “Alcatraz”, hit series “Supernatural” and “Underworld: Awakening”, opposite Kate Beckinsale. He also guest starred in the dinosaur sci-fi series, “Primeval - New World”.

Robert is an experienced voice artist and worked as a motion-capture and voice actor on the hugely successful game franchise, "Assassin’s Creed III", playing "General John Pitcairn".

Robert is based out of Vancouver and Los Angeles.
